4/7 - Chris spends $400 on a gold necklace

Seeing Barb wear the necklace, it doesnt look like it is worth $400, more like $40.

 

Yeah, it looks a lot smaller then I thought it would be. The seller Chris got it from owns a pawn store and has good feedback so I assume they know what they're doing and is legit (either that or all their buyers are uncultured trash like Chris and Barb). It's possible that when Chris inevitably has to pawn this necklace to he'll get one or two big Lego sets out of it.

Past a certain point, there's only so much we can say about Chris buying Barb a $400 necklace.

 

We're all on the same cycle. That's what happens when you shove a bunch of gossipy women into a room for a long period of time.

 

If my education from TVs Hardcore Pawn serves me well, pawn shops pay scrap prices for gold and silver. 14k price is $24/gram right now so $180 tops. Seeing that its Chris he'll be offered 100 bucks or so and take it, which probably isn't enough for a really big Lego set. In the end just one more bad deal in a long series.

 

I think chris's repeated begging is wearing a lot of us down, it got old very fast and is obnoxious

 

Chris is presumably a high-functioning autistic.

 

In chris' case, the definition of "high-functioning" is up for debate.

 

I do agree and I am going to offer some backstory to a bit of sniping between me and someone else: Chris' ridiculous prices and willful choice not to work when his friends are trying to give him advice and help to work are rather frustrating to watch despite the predictability of these outcomes. I never felt weening or a-logging is a good idea to begin with, but I am on the fence with a-logs. The argument that chris can't find work is shot when as Kim mentioned, most places he can qualify for wouldn't be concerned with is background and there are also federal and state level programs that can help him get hired.

Some of my comments have been rather a-loggy which I acknowledge. I don't feel that it is a good idea to try doxxing a-logs or weens since it does make the doxxer look like an equally big sperg and in the case of weens, its like the hydra; one is stopped only for another or even more to take his/her place and even then, some might be smart enough to use proxies
