    A Son-Chu transformer? Neat!

Someone who cares more than me do the math of how much each "prize pack" is worth vs how much an "entry" is worth I somehow feel like Chris is losing money on this raffle.

Wait, is he buying those atrocious custom Skylanders for this giveaway or has he figured out a way to make them himself? Aren’t those fucking things $50 apiece?

And what makes him think stamp collectors that are buying his stamps want any of his “merch”?

    Yep.

His profit right now is about $34. His stamps start from $2.50. The Transformer is about $20 and the Skylanders is $50. The card for the runners-up is $15. This is a really dumb move, even for him.

  5. I feel like Chris is getting worse with money. The Sonichu medallions are made out of cheap materials and can be churned out en-mass with minimal effort. If he kept up with those orders, didn't charge free shipping, and didn't post customer's dox he could make a decent profit off them on a consistent basis. Why introduce these new, expensive options when he's already got something easy with a low overhead?

The only answer I can think of is that Chris is basing these financial decisions solely on his emotions. He got sick of making medallions so he wants to try something new, regardless of how fucking stupid an idea it is.

He could be banking on someone shelling out $1k for his personal goddamn stamp collection of shit due to the promise of cheap, "customized" crap. That would cover his losses and then some, but I doubt even DStecks is that desperate for Chris merch.

Yep. He doesn't understand the math at all and bases what he's selling and prices off of emotion. With a lot of these deals he's literally paying for the privilege of making crap and shipping it out.

Trying to explain this to him would most likely result in claims of stress.

Two people are entered in the raffle so far, both for $2.50 stamps. Considering shipping and raffle prize costs, Chris will gain $4 and lose $86.

He just gets more and more desperate. He could have all the lego in the multiverse and still want more.

He fucks off with paid obligations. Why would he do free shit all of a sudden? Some sort of vain, promotional move to accelerate sales of worthless hoard merch?

I bet you a jar of pickles that Chris will not follow through with his autistic sweepstakes if he's got any honor roll left in him.

The Financhu Crisis is certainly not serving as a valuable learning experience of any kind.

Cue a bunch of weens coordinating to bid the same amount.

In all seriousness, though, the medallions are both cheaper to make and have proven to sell well. Why the hell doesn't he make those?

This is the only explanation I can think of: Chris just finished some video game and has finally amassed enough free time to devise a brand new money-making scheme. His rationality is probably "hmmm, the last- the last times didn't give me a reliable income. I got to- I have to think of something new." My guess is that he believes he constantly needs fresh ideas, he probably doesn't even consider his own incompetence as a reason why his previous scams failed.

I find it really funny how he (probably unintentionally) tags himself three times. Autocompleting it is much faster than typing it out, so it's justified, but the concept is still funny to me.

Guys, Chris is breaking the rules again.
    Example of what isn't allowed:
Now, Chris won't get caught since it's not being advertised on eBay, but on Facebook.
Did Chris actually find a way around the rules, or is it dumb luck?
I bet 50 Sonichu amiibo on the winner just happens to be one of his friends again.

I do not know if this is desperation, or stupidity?

At the risk of repetition, if he just went back to making medallions again, he's probably courted enough followers since the last batch that they'd probably sell fast and he'd make a few bucks. Ditto with commissions.

Chris likely got bored making the medallions. Novelty means more to him than money.

To be fair, "Maybe I'm just an idiot" is usually the last thing most failed entrepreneurs think of as the problem that's ruising their efforts.
