FB 2/18 - Countdown to 35th birthday

I think its one thing to wear young teen clothes because you are small and thin and they fit you, and quite another to wear young teen clothes when you are 6 foot tall and 200lbs in weight.

You forgot to mention that he set his own house on fire.

What kind of fucked up life is one where setting your house (and a poor cat) on fire is something worth having fond memories of?

 

All kinds of noisy firetrucks come with flashing lights, people asking if they're all right and helping, big free care package, brand new house to turn into a shithole...

These are the most exciting things in his life.

 

If I could attend, I would. Problem is, it would probably get crashed by a bunch of weens trying to MAKE CWC HISTORY.

 

He hated the original horde, so good riddens he probably thought.

 

Chris has some legit stress in his life from living with his crazy mother. Barb is extremely manipulative towards him, and he doesn't comprehend that.

Since he lives in her house, that gives her the leverage to demand things from him, or she'll threaten to either kick him out or kill herself. She orders Chris to give her money to pay her debtors, without bothering to tell him in advance how much she'll need, which often leads to Chris having trouble paying his own bills. She's also done insane things like when she went up to his room and knocked his toys down because he tried to resist when she ordered him to sleep in her room.

 

The house fire was an accident. Their coffee machine was in their hallway but they'd used an extension cord to plug it into a bathroom socket because the others were either used or blocked by hoard. When Chris and Barb closed or opened the door, it wore away at the cable until a spark caused the house fire. Given the layout of 14BC it's amazing that only the cat died, as the fire started halfway between where Chris and Barb were sleeping (Bob's old room) and the front door (the only exit that wasn't obstructed by hoard).

 

I've always seen that on Chris, it's just autism.

Yes but other normal and autistic people probably have the same problems and don't go out wasting their tugboats and paychecks on crap instead of conserving for the rest of the month.

You more than anyone know that Chris' money problems are not solely placed on Barb.
As far as her being manipulative, they've had that dynamic since 82' and neither party really wants to change.

I think it was Marvin who revealed that this had happened, Chris has never spoken publicly about it.

I think the Ohio trip had a really big knock on effect on Chris life, Bob and Barb asserted a very strict amount of control over Chris, telling him that if he left again that they would change the locks and he wouldn't be able to come back, whilst at the same time telling him that no matter what happened the three of them had to stay together. Now with Bob gone, Barb has really latched herself on to Chris, between her demands for money and her threats to kill herself, is it any wonder that Chris says he had more freedom when Bob was alive?

 

That makes so much sense now

Like I mentioned on KF, does Chris still have hope for the future? Or has CWC resigned to a life of pants-shitting and nothing-doing?

 

The fact that he gave up on running an ebay page/etsy shop and instead is straight up begging for cash leads me to believe that Chris has no game plan left. He'll keep throwing away his monthly tugboat/Barb's Social Security until she kick's the bucket and he loses the house.

He'll probably wind up in a cell after authorities drag him kicking and screaming from his room after months of no mortgage/utilities/property tax payments. Then potentially suicide when he finds out the bank threw all his toys in the trash

 

Chris is too lazy and cowardly to harm himself, let alone suicide. He'll just sigh, do nothing, shit himself and complain on Facebook. Maybe Waterboard will give him money (which he'll waste no doubt) and he'll still get his tugboat (as a Brit, I have no idea how the US tugboat system works so feel free to correct me on that) so he'll still have something.

I never thought of CWC as a suicide type because his ego prevents him from feeling any sort of self-pity. He'll just blame Pmurt and the DANG DIRTY TROLLS for something or other. We've seen him bounce back from losing his sweethearts and it took him a while to properly acknowledge Bob's death so I think it's safe to say he won't be killing himself any time soon.
