FB 2/12 - Chris finds Megan's Facebook, also claims he has empathy

'Empathy' is one of Chris' special abilities, he must be trying to level it up at the moment.

 

Exactly. I really hope Megan has found a nice partner in life cause I'm honestly nervous for Megan's sake that Chris will creep on her again if given the chance.

I highly doubt Chris has fully gotten over anything but to see Chris not being completely hostile over her is only slightly relieving. Megan is among the very few genuine friends I think Chris has had. They once had similar interests and stuff, she tolerated him without being a troll trying to get stuff out of him, but as we know Chris ruined everything and then blamed her for everything that went wrong afterword.

tl;dr I hope Megan does not converse with Chris because I'm sure they are still obsessed with her.

I heard she took up photography. Not so sure if it's true or not.

 

He said he went through his sent friend requests to find her, doesn't that mean he sent her one a long time ago and she never accepted?

If I remember correctly, Waterman is a friend or relative of Anna, and Anna is one of Chris' irl friends.

 

He called Chris a straight up narcisist. Even Anna's blood can't save him now.

 

Chris could care less about anything Waterman says, Waterman may try to interact and prod Chris, but Chris(to his credit) just ignores it and doesn't rise to the bait.

 

Tbh that sounds like an improvement. Chris finally has learned how to ignore things.

 

Ignoring Waterman is hardly an improvement lol.

I think just being Chris is exhausting.

Just look at all the effort Chris puts into things.

 

Chris' entire existence has been a practice in ignoring reality. Rember when Kim exposed him for ordering his own damn PS4; he did absolutely nothing.

In all seriousness Kim is kinda wrong about the Autistics and empathy thing. Autistics can feel empathy (at least as far as I read) but simply don't in situations most other people would. She is right in that therapy can enhance empathy. Chris himself has shown empathy a few random times since he's been discovered, and God knows he hasn't been to therapy.

Still she is right about sympathy and empathy. I think part of why Chris has so much trouble with the empathy thing is as much his laziness, selfishness, and stupidity as it is his autism.

 

Chris's views on empathy are an amazing mix of autism and being raised on television.
As far as I can tell, Chris thinks saying he's empathetic = being empathetic. He's always quick to describe himself as caring when trying to win over a mate, as of constantly saying "I care for you deeply" is the backbone of a long-term relationship. Chris strikes me as a person who would try to listen to you, but eventually compare his problems to yours of you tried to tell him yours, making sure you know your life is leaps and bounds less stressful than his, which is a big no-no in relationship management 101.
He's quick to tell women he's caring thinking it's this big thing that makes him stand out, but in reality it's expected of people to be caring of others. His view of other men comes from some varsity jacket wearing jerk on television who treats his girlfriend like shit. Oh, how if she could only see the CARING individual in front of her, she could be free from that jerk.
The biggest thing Chris lacks on being empathetic is not knowing when to offer a solution to someone's problem or just listen and understand. For example, I had some issues with my boss last week and I was angry. Normal people would just listen to me blow off steam or maybe say, "Yeah, your boss sounds like an asshole." Chris is not normal people, Chris would tell you some bullshit advice about telling my boss how I feel and shit, when you give advice when you shouldn't, it comes off as belittling, and Chris wouldn't realize that.
In short, Chris fails at empathy because tism.

 

The "perfect storm" of autism, poor upbringing, excessive TV, fast food, the internet, the Sonic sweepstakes, and vidya (especially sanic) has made the CWC of today.
