The begging cooled down after the second lawsuit got resolved. Before that, Barb was probably trying to throw money at the debt collectors in an attempt to keep the cases from going to court, but the payment plans she ended up with afterwards are easier to budget around. Their hoard/debt budgets were also strained because Chris had to pay over $650 in legal fees last year.

Barb was confirmed to be selling parts of the hoard recently, like her jewelry and the attempted sale of the tractor. Maybe there's other things Chris hasn't told us about. Also, Chris's toy budget seems to have contracted for now, since he's back to fixating on Pokemon, which hits his tugboat less than stuff like Lego, Transformers and PS4 games. That might leave more money available for Barb to pilfer.

 

The lawsuit was from the credit card company, right? Whatever happened with that?

 

The court ruled that she owes nearly $16,000 to Capital One (which is in addition to the nearly $5,000 that she owes to Discover). Marvin said she got put on payment plans for both.

 

I strongly suspect that Chris hasn't taken a bath since the Obama administration.

I actually believe this. That thing freaks the fuck out of me. I would sage smudge the shit out of it and STILL call in Hellboy, the Pope, AND the BPRD! That thing belongs either in "The Conjuring 3" Warren's Room of Weird Possessed Shit or a del Toro movie. Doug Jones can play it. ... Actually I would go see that. Actually that would be awesome.

There's that. Chris may vote Democrat just because Democrat, which would be a step up from "duck = bad candidate." On the other hand, Chris really didn't care about politics back then, and didn't have that present level of misandry.

 

That was before he hopped on the pseudo-feminist train.

 

Considering that Chris has a tendency to rabbit the beliefs of Bob and Barb, I actually think it is kinda impressive that Chris made the choice to break away from his families voting habits and vote democrat.

 

Kind of a random question, but on the Chris-Chan ED page, it says that Sarah Hammer died in a car crash back in 2016. Is there a source for this?
