Have you ever met someone who behaves like Chris?

Yeah, I think if you have autism, you can kind of identify in some ways with Chris. I don't know if I told this story, but Chris was actually the one who encouraged me to overcome my anxiety (mostly due to my drivers ed instructor as a teenager using a very scared straight approach to car accidents which terrified me) to get my driver's license after I saw that one video of him showing places in Charlottesville. It showed me that if he could do it, I could probably do it too and to address my anxiety and not use autism as an excuse not to try. Driving is now second nature to me.

 

Congrats, my dude. I was not expecting this thread to be so wholesome. I suppose Chris can be a great cautionary tale.

 

There's a British YouTuber, small channel (super ded6 galaxy), only about one or two thousand subs, he behaves a lot like classic Chris, there's one particular video which is essentially a 43 minute rant about family guy and how much he hates it, his rages are reminiscent of Chris'.

Outside of autism and the like, I'm trying to comprehend just what the hell I was looking at. This does feel like Classic Chris, at least in remembering Flying Elephants though compared to Chris, this guy manages to sound a bit more unhinged than Chris over whatever he's ranting about.

 

So he is literally ranting about literal children trolling him? Seriously, dude they are just kids, take the high road.

 

He lacks Chris' childlike quality during his early days. This guy is more obviously menacing.

 

Chris can help you recognize the cringey things in your own life and push you to make changes. It is easier to see faults in others than in ourselves.

 

Yeah, like I said, a lot of autistic people can sort of identify with Chris in some ways and can also feel some of his struggles with making friends and forming relationships. I know I did sort of feel for him a bit since I could relate with how hard it was, but knew he was going about it the wrong way and would maybe be happier if he swallowed his pride and tried dating other disabled women who he would more likely relate to and communicate with better and worked more on being more like the partner he wanted to have personality-wise.

 

To be honest, at least with those that were young back then, who didn't see a part of themselves in Chris whether it was having autism or not having a job and living with their parents? As some would of said though, Chris could of swallowed that pride and date other disabled women or at least really ease up on all those "requirements" in looking for a sweetheart. That said though, getting a girlfriend would also require more on Chris's part in also being considerate of others. Even as a friend, Chris fucked that up with Megan considering how it all went downhill and reaching the finish line with Shecameforcwc and how Chris tried to justify that.

These things you mentioned really did help contribute to the lolcow factor. Without the aggression, we wouldn't have moments of laughing at the incompetent individual trying to flex their strength by flailing their arms and legs out in some video and screaming in rage while punching and ripping a clown doll as an "example" to a dang, dirty Clyde Cash. And without the narcissism and delusions that were long before the whole CPU goddess and dimensional merge shit, it was just an idiot thinking they were hot shit who thought a crappy comic about a Sonic recolor would get a girlfriend or fame. And as mentioned with the shecameforcwc drawing and the emails with Megan that followed, Chris made more off in being a lolcow through it than just tism when it came to justifying the drawings and even letting out a darker reason for it in regards to urges or something similar.

 

i was about to make a post saying i knew someone who was chris chan like but they really aren't they just both have autism and act how other autistic individual tend too.
