Fan Films

Might as well open up a thread for these. Most of them are hilarious and sad, though sometimes there are glints of quality. Feel free to talk about either.

 

My main problem with the film, It's supposed to take place in a fictional city. Yet the way shots are composed, the viewer thinks this is supposed to take place in New York until a news broadcast tells them other wise.

 

A Casey Jones fan short film was made a few years ago that I thought was pretty good:

 

I don't know if this'll extend to animated efforts, but I've got a playlist I've filled with all sorts of odd fan-made efforts over the years and one thing that stuck out was this, an animated parody of Looney Tunes made by someone who had the balls to show an aging Tex Avery what he did and got a praised for it (Chuck Jones was not amused)! This is a masterpiece!


As with all things done on super 8mm, Star Wars was just an easy target for plenty of who-be budding filmmakers in their parents' yard!




And lastly, an effort from '69 featuring our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!

 

Is that Warhammer 40000 fan film still in the works?

 

If you're talking about Lord Inquisitor, they released a prologue for it.
