Video game & speedrunning cringe.

We live in an age where people find entertainment in watching others play video games while enjoying their commentary and personality. Nothing wrong with that, some hosts are pretty chill and entertaining. But sometimes gaming goes wrong.

I figure this could be a thread to share not just speedrun/stream cringe, but general cringey game content as well. Here's a sampler to kick things off.


Chibi is a standby in gaming cringe. This is the famous "I'd prefer if you were quiet" moment from SGDQ 2014 where CavemanDCJ tells him to shut up.


A special snowflake tries to hijack Runnerguy2489's Zelda run to talk about herself, literally asking the speedrunner "can you stop", as in "can you pause the game you're playing for charity so I can yap".


The most awkward moments from Minecon 2013, the video that spawned the phrase "dedotated wam".


The "THERE IT IS" shiny Ponyta video where some autist played THREE Game Boys at the same time all in the name of catching a fucking Pokemon (while keeping track of the number of encounters on a nearby graphing calculator).

The first episode of "Gamelife", a video game review show hosted by Andrew Rosenblum. His show became incredibly popular and it all came crashing down when he was arrested for threatening to shoot up his school the day after the Virginia Tech shooting.
