Chris is out - Cryptid Saga

When have things for Chris ever NOT gotten darker and more depressing?
Also the whole conservatorship thing just made me think of Britney Spears.

 

I'm not a law guy but it would be pretty fucked up if these lenders could garnish tugboat payments. It would just be money going straight from taxes to payday lenders. I'm pretty sure they can't do that.

It seems like a huge waste of time to get lawyers to go after his debt, unless they think they can get 14 BLC. What are they going to do, repo Sonichu and sell it for scrap? Sell his toys on ebay? At some point you just have to learn to take a few L's when you lend money to people like Chris.

The Jail of Fail didn't end him pretending to be a "goddess", it made him go on to pretending he's Christ.

 

I am not sure in Virginia, but in Michigan at least, there is a lot of things they can't force you to do unless you are a danger to self or others or it is written on the behavior plan that was approved by a board of people. It might be different if it was court ordered. I am not sure whether Virginia has Assisted Outpatient Treatment programs or not where the courts can force you into outpatient treatment which I know you can do in Michigan.

Usually they can't restrain you at all unless you are in a mental hospital which has a special exception. So it is guaranteed he won't be held down and his screams recorded.

There are a lot of questions raised.
How is Chris going to be able to pay his debt?
They can't take his tugboat and his stuff back at 14 Branchland is either (a) not in any condition to be sold or (b) thrown out already by Barb's relatives.
Someone already mentioned the car - isn't that in Barb's name?

The other big question is his freedom of movement. You're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. They can't stop him from going to certain places because he MIGHT be a sex offender. I guess whatever agreement released him from jail probably has terms in it about his employment. Can he hold down a job? And more importantly, does he want to?

 

I heard that case was dismissed or dropped by the courts because no funds.

This is probably the big reason why things took so long, compounded by (assuredly) a couple wild games of bureaucratic hot potato and Chris's (seeming) aversion to participate in his own defense.

I mean it's more that Chris used to lie about things that mattered and spill his guts about things that didn't.
At this point Chris doesn't care about trying to make himself look better because he's got an excuse for everything. A normal person would deny the allegations against them. Chris says whatever he did is OK because GodJesus.

 

That's never getting paid off, company is just going to eat the loss.

According to the CWCki, Chris was seen at a Walmart. I guess he is at least free to shop by himself, whatever his living arrangements are.

Apparently Chris was seen at a Wal-Mart somewhere else in Virginia earlier today. Pictures are on KF and naturally everyone is going nuts over them. Some have speculated they might not be real due to the fact that Chris looks a little chubbier than he appeared to look in his latest mugshot. But he was wearing a striped shirt in that and the camera quality was pretty low, so maybe it just made him look thinner. Some also speculated that the pictures of him might be from before his arrest.

I think it's probably real. It does look very much like him. Wouldn't be a pre-Jail Saga photo either. Despite still dressing in his re-colored tennis shoes, leggings, and a miniskirt, he doesn't have any of the bangles or jangles or necklaces, headbands, rings, stones, ect, that he used to wear all over himself before he got arrested (except for the Sonichu Medallion). He still looks like--well, like himself--but a little cleaner and a bit more well-kept. I'm sure that's probably because wherever he's staying is requiring him to be but hey, at least for the first time in his life he's showing some small meager improvement. Of course, Chris is notorious for taking one step forward and two steps back, so we'll see how long that lasts.

There was a ween a couple of days ago who wrote some kind of descriptive account of Chris now. I didn't read through it, just skimmed it to a part where the ween says Chris's hair smells like Cheetos...?
It's almost certainly fake.
Amazing what lengths people will go to for an ounce of clout and 15 milliseconds of fame.
