I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that their are idiots actually dumb enough to mistake a 4Chan greentext shitpost as legit news.
Please tell me this is all just one stupid gaslighting attempt by the internet, and that the people doing this are just in on the joke.

I think some ween shared the greentext on Twitter as legitimate and it started trending soon after. But, don’t any of them really know how 4chan works?

 

I think a lot of this is wishful thinking: people can't handle the fact that there will be no news about Chris for a year minimum so they make shit up.

 

Last major thing they did was make "bronies" a thing, AFAIK.

(Like I said, the "bronies" thing started ironically, but then some - like "Chris Chan" - took it seriously.)

 

The last major thing they did was get Trump voted into the White House.

 

If so, the political circus that followed has made that the biggest trolling scheme of all time.

I think Chris was an MLP fan way before the term ‘brony’ even existed. I’m not sure if he knew about the community during the Classic Era. We know he got super active in it around 2016-17, after the meme had peaked.

 

But that's the older MLP that was pretty much just the toys, not that "Friendship is Magic" cartoon.

Then again, Chris could very well be the first and last "brony" - first to the party, last to leave.

 

Yeah, I remember when Chris described brushing his pony's hair as therapeutic.

 

Y'know, that sounds a lot like Lennie stroking dead rats in "Of Mice and Men".
(Lennie's life was still not as fucked up as Chris's.)

 

The big difference is that Lennie wasn't aware of the consequences of his actions. Chris very much is.
People forget that Chris isn't mentally impaired/'slow'. He was perfectly capable of thinking and living life 'normally' - he just chose not to.

 

Why not both? Chris is "Honor Roll" yet able to tell right from wrong, but he chooses to be an ass?

Now I think the last major thing 4chan did wasn't "bronies", wasn't getting "Orange Man" elected (if true), but convincing too many people that Chris escaped the Jail of Fail.

 

Chris literally shrank himself down to a microscopic level so he could escape from jail undetected. He could be anywhere now. He could be under your fingernails as you read this.
