Chris at MAGfest

This has been mentioned on the random updates thread, but I think it deserves its own space. Chris is attending MAGfest. Not only that, but he attended a packed Sonichu panel:

Also of note is that Adam Goddamn Stackhouse was in attendance, and Chris buried the hatchet, bringing a happy ending to one of the earliest sagas in Christory.

 

Utterly incredible

 

Nice to see Chris not cooped up in 14BLC and slowly going insane for once.

 

Chris is surrounded by people giving him ass pats, he's doing great. Its when he goes back to that depressing hovel he'll go nuts.

 

Even seeing Chris interact with people, even though it all looks to be taking pictures with them, is a nice thing to see. Especially when one of the people he takes a picture with is Adam Stackhouse (though at this point, Chris may of forgotten the autistic beef he had over the guy).

Once Chris goes home, not much else will change aside from maybe an ego boost.

 

Bronycon 2.0 so soon? I wonder what type of nonsense about love and tolerance he'll be spewing once he gets home.

What a time to be alive

 

He's going to a lot of these cons, mostly for a sense of self-satisfaction. He thinks his ironic popularity means he's every bit the celebrity he believes he is. This is feeding one monster of an ego that's going to spiral into something like a good ol' fashioned lindsay lohan-style public tantrum.

 

Pat and Woolie from Super Best Friends and Pat’s girlfriend Paige were/are at MAGFest right now and they tweeted photos with Chris.

I would like it if Chris didn’t taint things I happen to be fond of. Super Best Friends FOREVER UNCLEAN.

 

Well, the alternative would be them acting like an ass to him, or just being indifferent. Personally I would have prefered if they slipped some subtle trolling into it but that's something you have to plan.

 

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they didn’t troll Chris or anything. Despite having followed Chris for (oh my god 10 years this year), it always surprises me how well known he is outside the little pockets of autism devoted to him on the internet.

I’m going to have to keep up with the next podcast to see if they mention meeting him.

However, there is a slight bit of concern that some asshat’s going to find something they disagree with about SBF and spergs are going to go off on some hate-fueled rampage, as they always do when someone is marginally connected with or has met Chris.

 

It's official. Chris has actually succeeded at something.

Yet -- and like someone said on KF -- Hirtes is stewing in rage alone in a roach-infested apartment as he repeatedly claims he's better than Chris.
