We're still in the goddamn bus. In the goddamn desert. And there's goddamn cats everywhere.

TB and Cosmos are huddled together in the back corner of the bus, giggling over something on a phone screen. They are covered in cats.

Everyone is anxiously waiting for them to do something because they're the goddamn pro-tuh-GON-ists.

I swear to god if they're just playing Wordle or some shit ....

 

Cosmos picks up a little tuxedo cat and it purrs for the rest of the post (soundtrack at the bottom of the post)
"Hey, little bird, do you like cats?"
[mortal terror bird noises]
"OK, sorry, I didn't know you were a tribble and cats were like Klingons to you"


I made some grill cheese in the bus galley, folks
one for you, Cosmos
half for you, little kiwi birb
and five and a half for me

 

the birb doesn't want to eat the grilled cheese
Cosmos gives him some proper birb food
[happy birb noises]

 

the bus lurches forward
all the cats start to hock up hairballs at the same time
