What are you watching right now?

I've recently been watching stuff from Season 4 of The Simpsons.

Last Exit to Springfield is my favorite at the moment.

 

I'm watching Next Food Network Star and I hope Matthew recieves 3rd degree grease burns and has to be removed from the show. He was in a previous season and was a hateable bag of douche who actually got sent home because one of the judges didn't like that he was always smirking like an asswagon. For some reason I don't understand he was brought back this season, and no one enjoys his presence. Working with him is like the kiss of death, he will sabotage people's presentations becasue he thinks he's being helpful. But he isn't helpful, he is a sack of garbage and needs to die before he can make Food Network any worse that it has already become.

I like the dude from Kentucky who wears pinapple shirts though, he's chill.

 

OK but Bridezillas is coming back on and that is my go-to trash.

 

Because it seems like history is being made for it, I am currently *trying* to watch Dragon Ball Super. Why? Because Goku legit has no chance against his newest opponent, that's why!

Lost in Space (the 60s TV show, not that awful 90s movie)

 

Just saw "Majority Rule" of The Orville online.

 

I bought the complete Tales From The Crypt series last month. The DVDs have been out of print for awhile, plus when I first watched this show on the space channel back in high school they never aired all the episode or even in order (although I'm starting to think they only aired the good episodes because most of the ones I haven't seen are terrible). Some of this shit's really dated though:

Siamese Twins barely conjoined at the ass. They only share a circulatory system. LITERALLY ONLY ONE DOCTOR CAN SEPARATE THEM. And it's only a 50/50 chance they'll survive. Medicine's kind of come a long way since then.

I was delighted to find that there's an episode with John Astin (the original Gomez Addams) that's really well done and has an amazing twist ending as long as you kind of ignore some shit that doesn't make sense.

 

Just finished The Prisoner. Hoo boy, if you want an absolute mindfuck then just watch the last episode. It's utterly insane.

 

Goddamn, I love that show. Just imagine that last episode airing on national TV, a lot of people flipped their shit.

 

I recently saw Dinotopia (the Hallmark DVD show). The society in it has this cultlike vibe to it.

I had two DVDs of the Super Mario Super Show and neither of them had any live action bits; perhpas they cut them to save space or perhpas they cut them because of legal reasons, seeing as they often included celebrity guests. More likely they cut them because they where really dated.

 

Just saw The Mads do a riff of Glen or Glenda, what a crazy movie.

 

The Beast Must Die on Svengoolie right now. Absolute pimp shit, plus Peter Cushing is in it. One of my favorite trash movies from the 70s.

 

Counter-argument on the last part: if they cut all the parts of the Super Show that would be really dated, there would be nothing left.

 

Just watched the last two episodes of Squid Game. I would've binged it, but I watched it with BFF and they have more self-control than I do, so we've been watching it two episodes at a time.

Very disappointed in the lack of squids.
