It's kinda narrowed down to a few things:
    a) Someone suggested that the person would paint the totem's arms blue to troll Chris. I'm suspecting that might actually happen.
    b) Destroy it in someway and record it for "LULZ", which would just be a waste of money
    c) Put the totem in his/her room, thus having that souless eyed thing staring at him/her all day.

  2. I hope they perform the sacrificial offerings needed to please the malevolent spirit that resides within the totem. Otherwise we're all fucked.

And of course it HAS to be in California. Like the ever-present threat of an apocalyptic earthquake isn't enough.

Please tell me you're not the one who bought it. I really want these pictures to have be copied from someone else.

I think that these are the pictures posted by the guy who actually bought it who posted pictures on 4Chan (or wherever he posted them).

I am pretty sure that he sucks cocks though.

I don't get the hostility towards the buyer, he now owns one of the few Christorical artefacts that people have always wanted. It meant nothing to Chris, it is places like KF, Cwcki club and the chans that hyped it up so much( the same with the jumper). If Chris took advantage of that hype, good for him, it shows he isn't a complete moron(barely.)

Maybe the people on those sites are jealous that now there's a guy who owns the object that they've always wanted? That being said, anyone who gives Chris money of any kind isn't seen in a good light.

Jealously could be a good answer. As for giving Chris money, in this case, he hasn't been given money, he sold something and was paid money. I think there is a big difference in giving and paying for something.

I'm not jealous. Hell, if it was $40 or $50 I might buy it myself (come at me, A-Logs). That being said, I would also have the good sense not to post it somewhere where I couldn't remain anonymous.

However, I didn't realize that the buyer put it on 4Chan, so therefore I stand corrected.

I guess people wouldn't be as ticked if the item would have been sold for say $50 to $100...but since Chris sold a relatively crappy art project for an absorbent rate of over a thousand dollars and some idiot actually bought it is the kicker. Chris might be the Picasso of retards but he is no Picasso of art.

I hope the totem's new owner enjoys it while they can. It won't be long before it starts using its dark powers to rejoin the horde.

That legitimate totem buyer still has me bewildered. I just wonder why someone would want to give Chris large sums of money in the first place. It's quite a worthless endeavor.
    • If this is white-knighting with a financial support motif, they must not have initially realized how vainly their money will be wasted. Whatever Chris gets, the most minimal amount of profits goes towards the bills. $350 of the $1500 totem money (23%), at the absolute best, is going towards those 150k of debts. We all know how poorly Chris manages money. Paying bills was the point of the overpriced hoard merch... right?
    • If they're doing this to deliberately piss off the Chris community, they're certainly getting their money's worth with a forum thread and a few rage posts... "Grr! That dang dirty unemployed manchild!" ...Is that worth a grand and a half yet?
    • If this is an eventual setup for chargeback trolling, then this is pure weenery that's probably going to rile up Chris to dox the buyer and attract the ire our community's most autistic battalions. I hope they like ...Priority Mail box forts and stacks of cold pizzas?
    • If the totem was all for one shitty 4chan thread, when did gook-moot turn (You)'s into paid DLC? Several measly unboxing photos and no explanation of purchasing motive after all those reaction images? Dragon-dildo unboxers on 4chan at least have an actual story. I've seen one guy shove it up his ass with pictures. Be like that guy and own up to your buyer's remorse!
    • If this is simply for owning a piece of meme-history, ...then what a fucking idiot. Where is he going to put that hideous thing anyway? Is it supposed to be a conversation piece? ..."What the fuck is that" "That's a Sonic Totem made by Chris-Chan himself!" "Chris...who?" "I spent $1500 on it."

I hope this is all a hilarious case of company embezzlement.

At this point it's easier to troll the people following OPL than it is OPL himself.

You know I didn't think of that. Positive feedback was left but that doesn't stop someone from contacting their credit card company and doing a chargeback, claiming their card was stolen. "Why would I pay $1500 for a special ed art project?" Pretty messed up if thats the case.

    You forgot:
If they're doing this in order to channel the demonic power in the totem and use it to fuel their summoning ritual, then... better start stocking up on holy water.

People can spend millions on memorabilia, how is this different? Chris is (like it or not) the True and Honest original lolcow and it is the Chris community that hyped up the totem into being something of significance.
