IIRC, it was their Principal that offered them extra credit of some sort to hang out with Chris and to be nice to him. As for the birthday party, Bob apparently did in fact pay them to come, again, IIRC.

I'm one of a number that is larger than one of spergs who looked upon him, saw too much of our own flaws exaggerated in him, and frantically sought out self-improvement for fear of allowing ourselves to become that out of laziness.

The other side of this is that he serves as a scapegoat for some insecure people (A-logs) to hold up and say "SEE? I'M NOT THAT BAD BECAUSE THIS GUY IS WORSE" and thereby give themselves an excuse not to better themselves.

 

This has probably been discussed already, and there's possibly a thread for it already, but have we confirmed Kim Wilson as a troll yet? It seems like she's a whiteknight, but didn't she give Chris's PSN info to other trolls AND introduce him to Kacey? It sounds like she is a very covert troll, or maybe just not a very good one.

Got it. See, I thought her insistence that Anna Mcleran is a troll (which may very well be true) was a way to cover her troll tracks.
