He lost me at "some sound wisdom to share" because I couldn't stop laughing.

 

This sounds eerily similar to the video he made on women not too long after his discovery; a bizarre discourse in which his verbiage does little to belie his naivety. It wouldn't surprise me if he posted this as a reaction to the comments made at Kiwi Farms, here, or Facebook on his empathy status from yesterday.

 

Wtf is he even saying?

 

"Please,please,please will someone pretend to like me"

 

I love how much they sound like an infomercial in this.
"HI CHRIS CHANDLER HERE AND I HAVE SOME VERY SOUND WISDOM TO SHARE. HAS YOUR FRIEND(S) OR LOVER HAD TO SPACE THEMSELVES FROM YOU FOR A TIME? HAVE THEY HAD AN ACCIDENT THAT HURTS THEM DEEP, MAYBE EVEN PHYSICALLY? ARE YOU DOWN WITH THE CANCER? YOU DESERVE TO HAVE YOUR FEELINGS FELT. CALL 1-888-EMPATHY TO BETTER THEIR PERSPECTIVE. WE'RE HERE TO HELP."

 

He didn't write this did he?

 

It is lacking in random punctuation and references to cartoons.

 

Would someone who wasn't chris write "I am down with the cancer" though?

 

is it bad that the first thing i did when reading the title of this thread was to laugh to myself?

Feels forced. Somebody else wrote that for him.

 

I can't believe I read the whole thing. I always love how Chris makes his empathy and emotions a selling point to befriending him.

 

The thing is, he probably can't feel empathy. He's autistic, and it's common in autists to not know how other people feel. He probably keeps talking about it because it's something he thinks he should feel. I think he does the same thing when he talks about exercising and eating healthy. It's something he knows he should do, but we all know he doesn't. He probably does it just to look, or even just feel normal.

 

what is up with chris's obsession with empathy lately? Is he convinced it's some superpower that'll make him special and unique in the real world. If so then autism's the only thing he needs to do that.
